The best pound cake ever

My mom & dad's grandmother from West Virginia had the best pound cake recipe EVER

Here it is:

Mamaw's Pound Cake!

3 sticks margarine*, softened

1 8 oz. Package regular cream cheese, softened

3 cups sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups sifted cake flour

6 eggs

Dash of salt

Mix together margarine, cream cheese and sugar in a bowl – beat until fluffy. Add salt and vanilla. Mix in 1 egg at a time, blending well. Stir in cake flour until well mixed. Spoon into greased 10-in. bundt pan. Bake @ 350* for about 1 hours, until top is slightly crispy.

Yummy!

* For best results, do not use vegetable oil spread, such as Country Crock or I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter
